This shop is hit or miss. Some staff are really good, others not so much. If you are ordering a standard Trek commuter bike, I’d recommend ordering directly from Trek.com. Trek offers a 30-day satisfaction guarantee too. Here is my experience: 1. Sales approach felt pushy and rude. Tried to scam me I dropped my bike off for a simple fix. The mechanic quoted me at $300. I called my hometown mechanic who called BS. I called summit back and voiced the concern. They “realized an easier fix” and reduced the price to $120… I’m sure it was even easier than $120, but I just wanted my bike back. If you’re not a bike expert BEWARE - they will try to get you.

Bought a bike and helmet from this place, they both work fine. Low rating is because Pancho keeps sending me unsolicited text messages to watch some Christmas video or answer some questions to win a $100 gift card. Great place with friendly staff. Knowledgable on what students would need for commuting on campus. Will come back when I decide to purchase a new bike.
