The Meteor Bike Shop Austin

Great shop with all the good stuff for bespoke bikes. Much more than high priced fancy new carbon, but that too. Jake (Mgr.) provides great service & super knowledgeable. Nick (mechanic extraordinaire) got me fixed up right away. No wait. No come back in a few days. His hands of steel easily seated my new pathfinder tires! All at fair prices. Awesome shop for folks who love their bikes!

I live in Round Rock and make the 1hr round trip to this shop anytime I need something done with my bike. Had some bad experiences with other shops, but The Meteor is the only bike shop I trust to work on my ride. Had both Nick and Bryan do service on my titanium road bike and both were super helpful, fast and didn't make me feel dumb about my questions or getting some basic service done. Only ever had good experiences with The Meteor and recommend them to anyone who rides bikes!

This place is fantastic. I was a little intimidated walking in, but there was no need. Everyone that I came into contact with was warm and welcoming and super nice. Especially Nick - super helpful and patient with my very many, very basic questions. Didn't make me feel like a dummy - even though I totally am when it comes to bikes - and didn't sell me things that I didn't need - even though he totally could have. I ordered a high end Ebike from the store. I was surprised it was delivered to the store the same day. The next morning, the shop customized it the way I wanted. Service was very prompt and done well. Their technicians are quite knowledgeable Dan, the manager, answered all my questions and literally bent over backwards to keep me happy. I got my money's worth! I will definitely go back for future maintenance on my bike.

I've never experienced such consistently bad customer service than when walking into a random local Austin bike shop and timidly asking a question...an act that typically garners instant scorn.
