It's in the name, but it is really true. You know what you want in a bike shop? Knowledgeable, kind people, who are in your neighborhood. I walked in one day, because I was browsing and I loved the humble shop. The owner asked me what I was after and if I liked anything inside. I told him what I hoped for, but that nothing I could see was really striking me. He disappeared for a second and then came out with the most beautiful vintage Nishiki. I bought one of my bikes here! Super cute little garage shop. He helped me fix a problem with my other bike multiple times as well (I didn’t know any of the right terminology and he was super understanding and figured it out for me!) Great place for super unique bicycles or for quick repairs. If I needed more bikes, I would absolutely come here. Went in today 10 mins before close because my back tire was loose. The mechanic Corrine was so friendly and fixed my bike in 2 minutes. Very appreciative ! Fast, friendly, knowledgeable. 10/10 will be returning for all my bike needs.

I said I had a fuji back in the 80's and immediately he proudly pointed to a gorgeous Fuji from that era, one he had restored. There was the original Fuji logo, I nostalgicly recalled from my much loved bike. Eamon's love and kn...

I sold my 90s Specialized mountain bike to Eamon at Friendly Bicycle and got a fair price for it. Friendly and knowledgeable folks, and really great to still have a bike shop on east side after Legend and Trek both closed in the last year or so.
