I have been to both locations and always had good friendly service. This review in particular is mainly about the suspension tech Lucas. He worked with me in sourcing a new coil shock for my bike. This was first time putting a coil on my bike and I had a lot of questions and he answered them all and went above and beyond. He got me set up with a shock I love and I would recommend anyone who wants new suspension/ needs suspension work done to go to Lucas.
I have been a customer of this store since moving to Portland a couple of years ago, I was in there today looking for some new gravel tires and they took good care of me as usual. I don't normally write reviews but today a guy who had never been a customer of the shop came in looking for some new riding shoes, turns out he had an appointment for a bike fit at the studio next door and he forgot to pack his shoes. Unfortunately they didn't have the size/model combo he wanted so it looked like ...
I just got a new bike for here and had the best purchasing experience! Everyone I interacted with has been wonderful, but shoutout to Lewis! Very knowledgeable, patient, friendly, and passionate about cycling! Nothing more I could have asked for. Also, I LOVE my new bike!!!
This is hands down one of my favorite places to go to get my bikes fixed. The people there are very friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to work with, and enthusiastic about their jobs. I’ve had 0 negative experiences in the 15+ times I’ve been there. They do all sorts of work including dynamo wiring, wheel building, and my favorite, hydraulic disk brake service and they never charge too much for it. If you live in the N/NE Portland area and need a good bike shop this is hands down my favorite....
Lewis is the man as are the mechanics at the shop. Got hooked up with a Transition Spur. Even better she got some upgrades right away and man, the shop was sooo great to work with. I've been in and out of the PDX race scene for years and they got me on an upgraded trail killing machine! Thank you!!!!
