Kevin was a pleasure to deal with. My plan was to try several brands of Hoka and determine at a later date whether I would purchase them. He was able to determine my gait (which was spot on) and recommend the correct brand of Hokas. I was impressed with his personable approach and knowledge. Super service. I bought the shoes on the spot!

Phenomenal service by Mark! He Spent 1hr plus to help me get the best hiking shoe and boot for my needs. His knowledge of matching a shoe to the specific needs of your foot (based on width, length and his knowledge of foot anatomy). Based on his great service I then went onto purchase 2 hiking pants. While each of the 4 items were avg 150-200+ and I only came in with the intent to get 1 pants. It shows how far remarkable customer service and a knowledgeable advisor can make a difference. B...

We were looking for knowledge about XC skis, and Jay was not only the most knowledgeable person we've found (we learned so much from him) but he was also super nice and helpful. He will definitely be our go-to guy for all things XC skiing from now on.

Went in to get special shoes as recommended by a chiropodist( foot dr.) and the guy there was very helpful with recommendations for the best shoe for my needs. Also helped to order a pair they had on the website but not in store. Great customer service.

I’ve been an avid shopper at MEC for over 15 years, but after my last two visits, I’m seriously reconsidering where I spend my money. In the past two months, I’ve had two separate, deeply frustrating experiences with the same employee. The first occurred in the bike section; I asked a simple technical question and was met with a dismissive, condescending attitude as if I were an idiot for asking.
