RUBARB Community Bike Shop

I just set new wheels and seat for my bike that’s previous stolen on these parts in the shop. It’s really a nice shop that provides abundant bike used parts and help for yourself to repair the bike, with very low price like charity. The volunteers working there are very friendly and willing to offer help and teach me how to do the repair. That’s really very educational and helpful. Really awesome place to use tools for free and get used (and sometimes new) parts for low prices. Since April 2025, kids have been allowed to misbehave, disrespect adults with crude language, run through the shop, bang tools and parts around, spit at adults, hit each other, run into adults, and kick things adults are holding. Everyone thinks their behavior is disruptive and unacceptable but there is not unity in addressing it.

Always helpful, positive, and a great learning environment for adults and children alike. Also, a wonderful resource for good used parts that do the job - at a price you can't refuse! Many thanks to the volunteers who keep the place running.

I'd visited RUBARB. on several occasions. I was pleasantly surprised by the community awareness and dedication to the kids. Always a peaceful environment. smiles all around. May they continue to be that beacon of positivity, needed in our neighborhood. Thanx. D ONION 🧅
