Just had my first experience with this shop. Similar to another reviewer, my bike had been sitting for years without being used and the tire had deflated to where it was off the rim and i didn't know how to fix that myself. I wanted to get that taken care of as well as just an overall check to be road ready. I was greeted immediately when i entered, Kinzer took my info and let me know they'd update me within a short timeframe, and i got the text quickly stating that my bike was in good shape ...
I was a little intimidated about taking my bike in for a tune-up after letting it sit for YEARS. I expected to hear I just need to buy a new one and start over, but that was not the case at all. Kenzer did a full diagnostic and basically said the bike was still in great shape and just needed the tune up. Super honest and made me feel like just as much of a customer as their regulars. This goes a long way, and I would highly recommend visiting Loose Nuts for your bike-related needs.
Was in town, Dec 6th for a day trip. Had dinner next door. Popped in to check things out, while we waited for our urber. The guy was very welcoming to us, answered any questions we had. Super short visit . Neat little shop. Bought a hoodie to support local business and went about our way! Go get your bike fixed if you need it fix or go get a badass hoodie!
I've been going to Loose Nuts since I moved to Atlanta in 2018. Their service is outstanding, including when I've asked them to fix something another bike shop did poorly. They're really quick too: I rarely have to wait more than a few days for service, even when parts need to be ordered. I couldn't recommend them enough.
I recently brought my bike to Loose Nuts Bike Shop for a repair and had a disappointing experience. The employee I dealt with had an off-putting attitude and told me my wheel and frame were cracked. This didn’t sit right with me, as I couldn’t see any visible damage myself. To be sure, I took my bike to REI for a second opinion — they inspected it thoroughly, fixed my derailleur, and even taped my handlebars without finding any frame or wheel issues. I left feeling that the employee at Loose...
