Bike Ride Sobe

🚲 Hard pass. The bikes are fine… when you actually get decent service. Attitude at the counter, random add-ons, and zero accountability kill the vibe fast 😒💸. South Beach is fun — this experience? Not so much. Plenty of better options nearby.

I had a tube installed here and it popped almost immediately. When I brought the bike back, I was told I needed to show a receipt and that there was only a one-day warranty, which was never clearly explained at the time of service. The situation got much worse when Gustovo Ruiz, the owner, called me a liar, cursed at me, and literally told me to “Leave the property”. Horrible experience! I do not recommend this place! Gustavo The Argentinian guy is absolutely rude, worst attitude I’ve ever experience and treats all his customers poorly but is quick to charge upfront. My experience at this bike shop during my visit from Washington D.C. was highly disappointing. After a tire blowout, I walked approximately 1.5 miles to this location, as it was the nearest and only open shop. When inquired about an inner tube replacement, the proprietor's response was, "I don't make money on these, I make my money on electric bikes/scooters, I don't want to do it" This refusal to service was incredibly unhelpful, especially given my predicament. Gustavo is the man!!!! Did a really well done repair on my bike, gave me an accurate time estimate, and was really kind. Will definitely be coming back here soon!
