Drove 90 minutes to Wheelz in San Jose to get my onewheel tire replaced. I had messaged the owner to confirm he could install the Onewheel GT enduro tire I bought online as he doesn’t stock them. He promised to do a same day job. He did it in a couple hours for $65, which is reasonable.
I can't speak to their services, but they have started to leave their dog locked overnight in the small gap between the gate and the storefront. At the time of the attached picture it is midnight, and 44 degrees downtown.
David is very knowledgeable and definitely knows electric scooters. His staff is only two workers currently, so wait times to service may be longer then what David estimates. Aside from that, David did a great job with my Roadrunner RX7 with a few issues I was dealing with out of the box. Will definitely go again if I I need repairs
tl;dr the man stole my scooter I brought David my scooter over two months ago. At first, he made it seem like it would be a quick fix. When I had heard nothing from him for over a week, I texted him. Where do I start..... In January 2021 I called Wheelz to service two of my scooters, I called ahead and made an appointment with David the owner to drop them off. I arrived at his shop on time (during business hours) and David was a no show. Of course parking is not easy and I had to carry my scooter back to my car. David gave me an excuse about someone breaking into his car or something and he was tied up, and it was too important to let me know that he wouldn't be there, red flag #1. Ok...
