Buy a bike from him and you're a customer for life but you still need to wait in the queue. Kind to him and he will kind to you. He doesn't take crap from no one and why should he? George can and will work on anything bicycle related. He also has parts and accessories that you will find nowhere else (other shops will even send you here). If you are into vintage bikes or Eroica, George can not only help you prepare a bike, he has some nice vintage bikes in stock. He is one-man operation, so it can be helpful to call ahead and make sure that he is there (he almost always is during posted hours, but a couple of times over the last 25 years, the door was closed and locke...

Awesome store! George was able to find an exact wheel replacement for me at 1/3 the price I was quoted elsewhere, including switching over the disc brake rotor and the tyre. Turnaround just a few days getting the new wheel shipped from out of state. Will certainly come back for my future needs.

I got help here a couple of months ago and I am still telling people about it. I was on my first ride and got a flat tire very close to the shop. I was shown so much kindness and was assisted even though I didn't have my wallet. You can tell this is the kind of place that puts people first. I recommend everyone goes here and I am so grateful for the help that I received that day. While I only needed a new tube for my bike, there was a large variety of bikes and bike gear available.

George is the best. He has worked on 2 of my bikes and both times his job was perfect. He is usually a bit busy and may not be able to work on your bike right away so do give him a call before you go in to make sure he has time to look at your bike.
