I broke a spoke just outside of Richmond on my second day of a 1200 mile bike tour. The first shop I tried didn't have the right spoke, and the second was too busy to give me the time of day. I was about ready to give up and hop a train home when I stumbled in to ReCycles. The fine folks there dropped everything else they were working that morning to fix my spoke, make some spares, and give me peace of mind that the rest of the wheel was solid. It made it all the way from Richmond to Florida ...

Passionate guys who know their stuff. I'm inexperienced and they always answer all my questions patiently. Got a rebuilt bike from them that had some issues, and they were always there to take care of it fast. They obviously care about what they do and want to make sure you have a great bike. Reasonable prices from a bike shop that clearly puts love into every job.

Recycles is my go to shop for all bike needs in Richmond! They've done seat changes for me, wheel changes and basic tune up work, simple adjustments. They are very thorough, friendly and reasonably priced and I will always return to Recycles!

Great selection of high quality new and used parts! Found a replacement seat post for a great price.

Make sure you get a quote that’s guaranteed. Walked in with a buddy to get his bike fixed, I asked Clerk if it would be any more than $100 he said “oh noo not at all” he looked at it then said it would be roughly around $50. So we left it there to get fixed feeling great that we found a cool bike shop. Then got called the next day saying the total is $190……….. first impression, Cool people but now have a bad taste and feel scammed. The bike itself was $200 when bought at store……
