South Philly Bike Shop

This is the only shop I’ll go to. The guys who work there are the nicest people, nothing intimidating about them no matter how much or how little knowledge you have about bikes. They work fast and don’t up charge for little things. You feel taken care of. They’re the perfect combination of qualities that will turn a one-time emergency client into a regular.

This bike shop is the real deal, and a hidden gem in the City of Philadelphia. They carry the Retrospect bike brand. I dropped my 1970's Schwinn Steel frame road bike for a derailer and cable repair. The estimate was $100. But the actual repair cost including a new derailer was $97.18, amazing quality of work and under the estimate. It was completed in one day. I highly recommend South Philly Bike Shop.

after going in and out of multiple bike shops that tried to tell me i had to bandaid my problem or invest in brand new wheels, these guys helped me in less than an hour and have me back to brand new. so grateful they were able to help me. before and after videos

Update: I get experiences are different and we all are not built the same but this shop is great. One time I had a flat, they replaced it, riding home and it popped. I called them, explained what happened. I go back to them. They gave me a new tire, FREE! They didn’t have to. Also if you or someone has had their bike stolen and the thief goes to here, I have personally witnessed them deny service. They explain why they won’t and I agree with them. Just be honest and kind.
