I recently purchased a used pedal-assist electric bike from Facebook Marketplace, and after just a week of riding it for about 350 km, the throttle stopped working. Naturally, I was sad and disappointed, so I began searching for repair shops in the Ottawa and Gatineau areas. I reached out to about five shops, but three of them refused to even look at my bike without an upfront payment of $80 for a diagnosis. One shop in Gatineau offered a free initial check but was unable to diagnose the iss...

My first eBike from Pedal Easy was a converted offroad Marin WTB. It was great for riding in place like the Limerick Forest. As an age 75+ cyclist I really liked the extra help the eBike offered. In fact, I liked it so much that I then purchased a Responder CF to use as a gravel (e.g., OVRT and K&P) and road bike on the backroads of Lanark, Frontenac, Leeds & Grenville. While I still occasionally use a Specialized Tri-Cross I can be found most often on the eBikes. I appreciate the quality of ...

I am grateful that I came across pedal easy when researching to buy my first e-bike. It is exactly what I wanted in an e-bike: lightweight, looks like a normal bike, has gears and good mileage. I like that it is a breeze to ride as a normal bike, but that I can use the pedal assist for tough hills, or when I am tired riding home after work. I can enjoy my bike ride and not worry if I am going to run out of steam. It is also nice that it already came with the fenders, rear rack, bell and kicks...

I can’t say enough good things about Pedal Easy. They really came through in my moment of need and set up a deal for me to rent one of their demo models as long as I needed. I HIGHLY recommend you check out their shop and go for a test ride. Not only do they offer customer service that many bigger shops lack, they offer a very niche experience that really feels like riding a bicycle; they stick true to their lightweight philosophy and what you get is a simple, solid, and quality ride. I rode...

Claudio and team were amazing to work with. One never felt rushed and Claudio patiently answered a multitude of questions. Their focus was wanting to get the correct bike for the rider. It is obvious that Pedal Easy has worked hard designing their bikes, ensuring quality and easy usability. I like the fact that the motor is in the front wheel which provides better control, yet the bike still looks just like a typical bike. One can really get the sense that they want people to be happy with ...
