Spoke House Bicycles - Broken Arrow

I got ripped off. Was supposed to get a 9 speed to 10 speed upgrade, all Shimano parts at the end of May 2025. Five months later my "new" shifter failed due to inner corrosion. So, I had the shifter replaced "again". I've been using Shimano products for decades and noticed the old shifter didn't have the logo, whereas the new one did. Long story short, the shifter was not replaced the first time. Will not be returning.

It's my first time using a bike shop in Tulsa. Spoke House had great reviews, so I drove a little further for a better experience. My mountain bike is only a year and a half old, and I figured it just needed a quick tune up. In the state where I'm from, a tune up would cost a 100 to a $120. At this shop, even though my bike is not that old, they told me I needed a new chain, a new brake cable and wanted me to pay almost two hundred and fifty dollars to get it to work right. I had just refurbished an electric bike wheel and despite my tools and abilities, there is only so much truing (wheel spoke aligning) you can do with 2 hands and not much else. I needed a group of pros with proper tools, experience and resources. These guys helped true my electric bike wheel where I could have accidentally damaged mine, and made it like new. I would go back again if I needed to fix up my bike again.
