Rented 2 city/hybrid bikes for the day to go up to Lawrencetown beach and had a great time, bikes were awesome and service was even better :) would rent again for sure!!

Need I say more? Ok, I'll say it again; this is your local bikeshop with a world-class service. Not your typical huge bikeshop with all the bells and whistles and far-out expensive bikes and gears. Long Alley has just the right ones everyday cycling people need. You walk in and you feel like you're just walking into your own garage bikeshop. You feel at home. Right away. Friendly owners and staff. Very prompt service. And again, world-class service.

TLDR; My experience is probably an outlier Great staff Really inspect the 300 dollar used green CCM before buying. I’m writing this review 30 mins after my 1-2hour interaction at this store with conflicted and mixed feelings. Friendliest coolest wonderfullest bike shop in Halifax. The people at this shop are so wonderful and kind. I have a long convoluted bike theft story and I was so big-time confused while I grieved my old bike that they were so kind about listening to me and advising me about fixing up the other bikes friends gave me or which bikes in the shop I could buy.
