Would rate a 5/5 as I've generally had good experiences here and bought products that we lasted me a long time but, had an odd experience earlier today where I was looking for a clip of a certain size to fix one of my bags. The only clip that would've worked for my bag had no male counterpart so an employee went into the back for me to look for it eventually coming out of the back with 4 reasonably close albeit different clips (Likely Back stock from months or years prior). Beautiful store in downtown Winnipeg. Interesting assortment of sportive items available. Friendly and helpful staff always available for the customer even on a busy afternoon.

Had a great experience here. We don’t often go because of it’s location downtown and parking. However, all the employees who helped us (about four different guys for different decisions buying winter parkas etc) were SO helpful! They didn’t pressure us at all and were knowledgeable, willing to check the back and gave great advice. We were so happy we came.

I like this store. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. They have high quality outdoor camping, hiking, running, winter and cycling equipment and clothing. They also have a nice selection of casual clothing. The washrooms have composting toilets and are clean. Their return policy is also very good.

I drove into the city on my way through to check out some boots. This store is in the worst retail location in the city. I had to hunt an employee down to get help with sizing, and when I found one they didn't have anything in my size for what I was after. Alongside that, not having a bathroom for customer use. I would suggest skipping MEC. There's gotta be more accessible outdoor stores in Winnipeg.
