A great sporting goods store that beats most bike stores . I’ve been going to McPhails for bikes, parts , and mostly service for 30 yrs. Their mechanics , especially Mike , are second to none. Always a perfect job . Done right the first time , and always fair pricing. Mcphails is the real deal.

Came to get my skates sharpened, always a nice place to shop. Employees are very friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of hockey and cycling equipment available, good sales from time to time. Skates are available to rent as well for $15, and sharpening is $8 flat! They also have a sharpening card if you need more frequent sharpening done. Highly recommended!

I travel from out of town to sharpen my figure skates at McPhail's. For some reason, all the places in Guelph like to sharpen them with a deep hollow, causing my skates to get caught in the ice when I try to stop. But the people at McPhail's sharpen them on the shallow side. Absolutely no issues when stopping on the ice. I have also purchased both of my bikes and accessories here. The team is really knowledgable and service is always top notch. Can't say enough good things about this place!

Super kind people and amazing service! I rented a pair of skates here and recommend everyone to do so. The girl working there was super kind to me and it’s really easy to rent and return skates. Will definitely come here again!
