The Bicycle Coalition of Maine

It has a wonderful mission and I appreciate any organization that focuses on cycling. I also know that it's not easy running a non-profit. However, I have two concerns. (1) their rating on Charity Navigator gets a failing score, which indicates mismanagement. (2) the cancelation policy for their Bike Maine weekend seems unfair. In my case, I had to get surgery due to a sudden injury (which I told them I can verify from my surgeon) and they wouldn't let me give my registration to another cycl...

This organization is doing so much for much-needed structural change for bike and ped safety in Maine! Yay!
