Hard to believe I've been a customer for almost 15 years but haven't written a review! Consider the bike shops that have come and gone in that time, support this store. Even if you took the time to write negative review, what's your alternative!? All the shops are gone! Sure that doesn't mean you should brush off a negative experience, but give a shop like this the opportunity to correct the wrong. This business is a hard one. Very slim profit margins and largely operates out of pure passion....

There are a lot of good bike shops in Baltimore but Joe’s is by far the best. Joe’s keeps you on the road, the dirt, gravel, whatever. They’ll put you on the right bike and keep you on it. Where else can you walk in on a Friday afternoon with a busted cable and get it fixed on the spot by Joe himself? No hassle, just “what’s the problem?” and a quick fix. I had a great experience at Joe's Bike Shop. As a new cyclist, I very much appreciated the level of help and recommendations I received from Joe. He was patient and walked me through all of the options and why certain brands/models/accessories were better for how I planned to use my new bike. I highly recommend checking them out!

Spend your money literally anywhere else. I've never been to this location but the previous location in fells Point had the rudest staff I've ever encountered half the time I came in to get my bike fixed they would send me to the next place cuz they didn't want to do anything. I cannot tell you how many times I came in to get my bike fixed and was met with nothing but rude and abrasive behavior Joe's bike shop shouldn't be in business at all. I just wanted to take a moment and express my gratitude to Joe's Bike Shop for the wonderful service I received the past 2 days.
