Elk City Cycles

We stumbled upon Elk City Skate Shop while heading to Kinship for some Christmas shopping and couldn’t resist stopping in! I had no idea Charleston had such an awesome skate shop. The selection is fantastic, and the staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable—they helped us pick out some great wheels and bearings. I’m especially loving the Elk City Skate Shop-branded boards and gear. Definitely recommend checking them out and supporting this local gem!

All who answered the phone were courteous and helpful. I worked with Chris on packing up an E bike that I bought off Marketplace and they shipped it via Bikeflights to me in Minnesota. Chris packed the heavy E bike superbly and it arrived as good as it left!! Recommended!!!

I walked in on a whim, needing pads for my daughter, who wants to skateboard. I found what I was looking for, and inquired with Brandon where I might be able to find a good used bicycle for a niece of mine in need as she was walking to work almost 2 miles one way. I was stripping a bike for parts. I couldn't get this pedal off. Two other bike shops couldn't get it off. One broke my chainring. Brandon got it off. If you need work done I recommend taking it to Brandon. Thanks & good job!

They didn’t have the tire I wanted but they showed me the tire I needed and I am very impressed absolutely love this tire!!!! The Odyssy brake pads loving them too!!! Shout out to the employees very knowledgeable and helpful!!! If your looking for bike and skateboards and accessories this is the place to go.
