Helotes Bicycle

Hank is amazing! And very reasonable rates. It is a real treat to go there and talk to him, and to marvel at this shop, as the building is from the 1800s and an historical site. But I wouldn't take my bicycles anywhere but there. Highly recommend.

Hank runs a one-man shop in downtown Old Helotes. He really knows his stuff and is very reasonable. I trust him with my bike without a doubt.

This is indeed a BIKE store. The store looks a bit like what would happen if a bicycle factory exploded. Bikes are literally everywhere. Old, new, and quite a few rarer older bikes as well. There is really not enough room inside to walk around since stuff is piled willy nilly however the air is indeed of a bike shop run by a guy that has been working on bikes forever. The system seems to be ask and ye shall receive exactly what you need. If you go expecting to find a glossy Sun and Ski Sports...

Hank adjusted my bike and he found a life threatening issue with my front tire that I was unaware of. Thanks!
