Rising Tide Electric Bicycles

I'd recommend renting the 500 watt bikes if you're a little bit bigger then me. I'm 6'10 and 260 lbs and found the 350w bike perfect enough for an easy 2 hour bike ride. We did approximately 20km (15miles) around Charlottetown doing a couples self-guided tour. The city is small and super easy to move around. Rented two beautiful ebikes to ride to the coast via the Confederation Trail. But time passed quickly and we had a headwind, so on the way back it turned out that we had used too much power and the batteries were empty one by one. After waiting half an hour, two new batteries were installed and we could finish our trip. Kudos to Rising Tide! Good experience!

We booked the 2 hour Charlottetown tour. Frank was awesome!...and his stories were fascinating. Frank provided lots of interesting background info the many points of interest along the route. Bikes were peppy & comfy.

I wish I could give it five stars but the experience wasn’t. We rented two bikes for five days. On the first day, a Sunday, we were given bikes that obviously had not been checked for problems. We had to return to the shop three times. They didn’t have a mechanic around that day. In the end, we left with a bike with misaligned handlebars, to return the next day when the mechanic was around.
