Rich and his staff are both professional and friendly people who will help you choose the right e-bike for your personal needs. I just bought a new Class 2 Aventon e-bike from CEB and I love it already.

It's the only place in town for electric bikes and it shows. They charge very high fees, and when I finally saved up and bit the bullet to get my bike serviced I'm pretty sure they didn't do anything. It came in with squealing brakes, rattling chain, and uneven brake lever tension. I got it back a week later for $120 and the brakes still squeal but even worse now, they "threw away" the old brake pads when they "replaced" them, even though I was told that they would keep the old ones as proof ...

My wife and I rented two e-bikes to tour Corvallis. Jeff, the owner, could not have been more friendly and helpful. He had us come to the shop early since he was working alone. He hooked us up with a cargo e-bike that our daughter could ride on the back of, since she is too young to get her own e-bike. Jeff gave us plenty of instructions and information about the e-bikes and even undercharged us. What a great shop and asset to the community!

My wife and I rented a pair of electric bikes yesterday for a few hours and we had a wonderful time. The staff, especially Pam, were super kind and helpful and they did an excellent job explaining how everything worked. And we were able to walk in and make a same day rental, unlike at some other places in town. 10/10 would recommend renting e-bikes (or anything) from here! We will definitely be renting here again next time we’re in town.

If you are highly mechanically proficient, the cheapest way to get an electric bike is to source parts from China to retrofit an existing bike. But if you are not comfortable with making all the electrical and mechanical components work together, it is hard to beat the bang for the buck you get at Corvallis Electric Bicycles. Here are the examples I saw: 1) The only e-bike under $2300 sold by any other Benton county bike shop is a 2020 Townie Go! 7D for $1614 ($1599 + $15 bike tax). The Tow...
