I was referred to this shop by a good friend who knows his stuff, so I headed on over with my sons new bike that I ordered online. It’s not what you’d consider a high end model, but it’s not trash either. It’s a perfectly good, standard mountain and street bike. I head into universal cycles and I’m greeted right away by one of the techs who asks me a few detailed questions about the bike, even looks it up online and lays it out for me: this will cost $200 to do, that’s honestly a lot of mone...

Universal Cycles is a fantastic bike shop! They are very knowledgable and their prices are very competitive. Billy and his staff were great. I was suprised that they often beat on-line price and was impressed by the depth of their iknowledge. Great prices, amazing service, and a friendly, inviting atmosphere. Why go anywhere else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The price of the gearset that I got and the guy that installed it (Austin) did a fantastic job. They were very professional and prompt. They kept me updated on everything and their prices were fantastic. I would highly recommend them to anyone anywhere, especially those that live in the greater Portland area.

Universal cycles is super good. They're nice at the store and have a huge catalogue. Easy to get to by MAX with a bike. Also there's a great "Specials and Overstock" section on the website where you can get screaming deals on bikes, things related to bikes and bike things in general. If you're into bikes, cycles, bicycles or tricycles, all or any of these things-or know someone who is then Universal Cycles ought to have something for you.

Started working on my bike recently and had so much help from the folks here picking out and ordering parts. Shoutout to my man, Austin in the shop for being willing to answer all my questions and troubleshoot the random stuff I break wrenching on my bike at home 🤙🏽
