So happy South Main is my local bike shop. Not only do I take my bikes there for regular maintenance, I’ve purchased a couple of bikes through them. They’re very knowledgeable and supportive. South Main Cycles is easily the best bike shop in the Charlotte area. They have worked on all of my bikes and always do an amazing job. I would highly recommend them to anybody.

I highly recommend South Main Cycles! I stopped in to inquire about tires after finding one of mine flat. Mills went over some options with me and had me back up and running in an hour. Anytime I’ve ever taken my bike to other shops in the past I have been told I had to leave my bike for a week or two. I was Unexpectedly in and out with new tires, a new chain, and some adjustments in one hour and at a good price. I will return when the next need arises.

On 05/24/25 My son took his tire to get his inner tube replaced. On his week old graduation present which cost 2,400 dollars. It is on a brand new GT73 electric bike. After waiting on an hour he went inside to check up on his tire and he was told it would take another two hours. Since we live in Lake Wylie we went home and came back at 4:00pm and the wheel was not ready yet. So I had an amazing experience at 3:00 p.m. on a Saturday at the bike shop. I'm not really a mountain biker I'm a whitewater kayaker. I brought in two old bikes with rusty chains and they immediately both worked my two bikes. Replaced all the parts (tires chains, brake pads, etc) in less than 30 minutes was out the door.
