I've purchased as well as had my bikes maintained at Family Bike Shop. Jonathan is a super pro mechanic. The staff there is always welcoming and provides excellent service. Whether you have a road bike or mountain bike to purchase or maintain, I highly recommend FBS!

This bike shop is awesome. Great prices, great people, amazingly competent service. They have helped my wife and I purchase bikes that fit, showed us how to do various adjustments, showed us how to use a repair kit. They have serviced our bikes. Always friendly. I love Family Bike Shop and they are a true asset to the entire Bowie/Crofton area (and beyond). I highly recommend them for all of your bicycle and bicycle gear needs.

Front of shop folks were great and helpful but I would not recommend dealing with service. Maybe you’ll have a better experience if you buy your bike from them. A few years ago when I didn’t know much about bikes, I brought my wife’s functional, fully built bike in for a tune up.
