Elite Cycling

Absolute best bike shop in the KC area. I've bought and sold a ton of bikes over there years and always take them into a shop to have them looked over by the professionals. I wish I had found Elite Cycling sooner. Every staff member I talked to was nice and super knowledgeable. 10 stars if I could!

Excellent service. The staff are super interactive. Great source of information whether about your bike while they repair or chat about local trails. If you are riding the Katy, get ahold of Dave. He knows the route and elements you might like to be aware of intimately. Overall, a great place for service, repairs and stories, stories and stories of the magic of bicycles.

Hands-down the best bike store in town! I bought my first road bike, a Giant, at a different store that is now defunct. After it went out of business I started taking my Giant to Elite for service. They treated me so well, and took such great care of my bike, that I bought a new Cervelo from them. I wouldn’t buy a bike anywhere else. Great service! Very knowledgeable! Last year I upgraded to tubeless rims after Daniel sold me on them. Could not be happier!

I don’t have much experience with Elite, but they had the Domane bottom bracket we needed, which is more than the Trek Store could offer. The store itself is well stocked with bikes, parts, nutrition and other gear (helmets/shoes/apparel). They also have a dedicated bike fit area too. If I lived closer to the Leawood area, I’d consider Elite as one of my go-to shops.
