Eric was super friendly, they replaced the brakes on my Ebike for be with some hydraulic disc brakes I will be back! Edit: I have also had him do custom work to my Ebike, I wanted to not have pedals and he made a custom bracket and peg system for me and it’s awesome and works great, I even got hit by a car and it’s still perfect. Best bike shop in Elgin.

After extensive research on a bike I’d wanted for commuting, I ordered my Marin through this shop. From initial order to first tune-up, Eric was honest and knowledgeable every step of the way! He also gave helpful info regarding upgrades for the bike (bags, lights, etc) and I came away with some great addons and other apparel. If you’re in the area, definitely check this place out. Highly recommended!

Everything Petal is a quality bike shop! I had an excellent experience with Eric (might be the owner, not sure). He knows his stuff and you can tell upon entry that he’s an honest person there to help others! Everything Pedal is a great, local bike shop, in a convenient location near the river in South Elgin. I needed repairs after I crashed my mountain bike. The price was reasonable and the repair took quicker than initially estimated. Very pleased with the outcome. Excellent customer service. Friendly, happy to answer questions, and thoroughly explained damage/repairs.

I called the owner of the shop today after looking all over the area the past few days for a bike and today he got my exact size delivered, exactly what I was looking for in a hybrid, and best of all . . . it was a Marin!
