Amazing service! I walked in less than 30 minutes before closing to drop off my bike for chain replacement, fully expecting to have to return the next day or later to pick it up. Instead, I left literally 10 minutes later with the chain replaced! Thank you, Mark (the sales rep) and the mechanic (whose name I didn't catch, unfortunately)!

Originally, I was genuinely excited to support my local bike shop and keep my business local. I ordered a pair of bike tires through their online store for pickup and came in a week later to grab them. I was greeted kindly, but that’s unfortunately where the positive experience ended. Travelled into town from Seattle with my bike. Ran into some trouble with my weird small tires. Mark helped me out on the phone and in the store and I got my tires sorted. I stepped in the door and he spotted my bike after just a phone call said, "Seattle? Needs tires?" Great recall. Absolutely stellar service, friendly shop, had what I needed in stock, and gave me advice for my next tune up when I get home again. I am disappointed with the service I have received at Walt’s cycles. I had come in for a basic tune up and getting my chain replaced. The chain replacement was half done, as the chain was not under tension. There was less than half a centimeter length from my upper jockey wheel and where the chain stretches; Walt’s should have adjusted the length of the chain. I love Andy and the service staff at Walt's and they have done a great job maintaining my standard chain bicycles. Nonetheless, I cannot help but feel disappointed for the absolutely terrible service they have done for my internal hub belt drive bicycle. I brought in my belt drive bike twice in 2024 for a rear flat service. Both times the cable alignment of the internal gear hub was badly messed up after the flat was repaired.
