Great service! The owner was super knowledgeable and was able to help me find the perfect helmet for my needs. He even helped make sure it was a perfect fit. This bike shop is run by a person who definitely knows bikes, knows safety, and cares about making sure the customers get what they need fairly.

The cycle shop you want when you're looking for the owner who loves cycling. The guy who owns this is extremely knowledgeable about cycling. If you wanted the fastest cheapest bike off Amazon this is probably not the place for you. Other reviews mention customer service missteps. I've seen that. I've been frustrated. Stopped by to inquire about tune up service on my Bianchi and was very interested in several Bianchi Road Bikes and Handlebar Grips. I was told I would have to wait a week to talk to the (Owner)s. I still tried to purchase Grips but it was a cash only transaction purchase and they were having major issues servicing and answering questions. Unfortunately after 10 minutes waiting to check out with my grips I left and checked out for good.

I purchased a bike from this shop and later recently bought a basket for my cute bike. Was surprised with basket price...I did not know how they are pricey. So after that I compared with amazon...At first I made a mistake bcz compared with the wrong one..not the same basket from the shop and thought Richard charged a lot more than amazon...later found out he changed very reasonable and his shop has good quality products ...also appreciate that he put some air on my tires. Great service!

I usually hate writing negative reviews, but I think it's worth letting people know what to expect when dealing with Richard's Cyclery. I went to Richard's Cyclery with a set of hubs and rims that I needed to have laced up. Before dropping everything off, I called to make sure they would be able to procure the specific parts I wanted for my wheel build. So far so good.
