J & P Bike Shop

Took a bicycle in to get it fixed in June, didn't get "fixed" until late September and the derailleurs, while better then they were before, still are not functioning properly and I cannot shift the crankset between 2 & 3rd gear without great difficulty.

I took 2 new Ozark trail Ridges to the shop to get a tune up. I had one of them road ready already was just making sure I didn't miss anything. The 2nd one I couldn't get the rear brakes to work properly. I asked what had been done to the bikes and was told everything was tightened and adjusted brakes fixed. Well my back brake still doesn't work and the tires weren't even aired up. Check your bike before you leave. Feel like I spent $90 just for my bikes to be stored a few days.

Great shop!!I've went to a couple of others around and I'm the average joe. I'm not a dentist wearing spandex in a midlife crisis. I didn't fit in and felt out of place at the other shops. I seemed to be a hassle even though I was spending money with them because it wasn't the amount they wanted me to spend. I now only go to JPs even if he doesn't have exactly what I'm looking for he'll have something close enough. The other shops should take a page from his book!

Trustworthy, been in business for years, and reasonable pricing. I shelved my road bike a few years ago. Recently I wanted to start riding again. So, took it in for a tune and check up. He did what the bike needed and made it roadworthy. No extras or surprises. He didn't try to sell me anything that wasn't needed.
